Action & Suspense: Around the World 1 is our first collection of dark, intense, powerful and suspenseful tracks with an ethnic twist. Each of these thirteen action world hybrid tracks have been handpicked for their variety and quality, and add a cutting edge cinematic sound to any project. The album covers a wide range of geographical regions – check out the suspenseful middle eastern flavors of Road to Cairo, or the intense Hong Kong Battle, perfect for a looming battle scene in a far east setting.

Agent in Shanghai

This epic track features a sad, yearning melody performed by a traditional Chinese bowed instrument. Underneath this melody is a huge combination of orchestra and percussion, which grows in intensity throughout the length of the track, and create a sense of propulsion.

Amethyst Rain

An eclectic mix of traditional eastern Indian instruments blends with electronic lounge production for a hip retro vibe. Swirling flute melodies, echoing electric piano and native hand percussion mix with sitar, dobro and wood bass. This vividly imagined soundscape evokes an air of wonder and is perfect for yoga, massage or pilates videos.

Appalachian Rainbow

Wistful acoustic guitar with a dobro lead, this peaceful country track consists of folk and world elements. Evokes the bright changing colors of fall in the old Appalachian mountains.

Arctic Journey

An ambient world music track of ethnic flutes and duduk, orchestra and percussion. Someone is on a long journey in a cold and foreign land. Great for travel documentaries or suspenseful scenes in a drama.

This is our first world / ethnic compilation, and we’ve put this compilation together to give you the widest possible variety of music from all around the world. As you listen through Around the World 1, you’ll discover an assortment of some of our finest folk, eastern, African and Latin tracks.
